We're excited to share highlights from our Year 9 Good Quick Tukka Program – a hands-on initiative designed to teach students how to prepare and cook healthy meals, while building valuable life skills along the way. This great program was run by MAMU Health Innisfail and Miss Dempsey for 8 weeks during Term 2.
Throughout the program, students learned practical cooking techniques and nutritional knowledge, which they are encouraged to take home and share with their families and friends. It's all about building confidence in the kitchen and promoting healthy living in our wider community. A huge thank you to MAMU Health for the support and opportunity.
Well done to this amazing group of Year 9s!
