Instrumental Music Leaders

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Instrumental Music Leaders at Innisfail State College are comprised of two groups:

1. Strings Leaders

2. Band Leaders​

There are several leadership roles on offer to students who are part of the instrumental music program. Each year, students present a speech to their peers and a voting process is conducted to determine the people who will assume these positions.

The roles and responsibilities of our instrumental music leaders are:

• Assist with organisation of the ensemble during rehearsals and performances 
• Assist with tuning of instruments for less experienced players 
• Emcee at music events and concerts 
• Write instrumental music articles for the newsletter
• Mentor younger students and be role model in terms of behaviour, effort and attitude
• Help to create a fun and supportive ensemble environment for all students
