Each year, students from Years 7 to 12 are elected to support and strengthen the student body through representation in matters relating to their schooling experience. This body of students is known as the Innisfail State College Student Council. The Student Council is comprised of Student Leaders, House Captains, School Captains and Vice School Captains.
Our Aim
The Innisfail State College Student Council aims to:
- encourage participation in school activities
- help in matters concerning the welfare of our school's student body
- provide opportunities for leadership
- provide a forum to determine and discuss students' opinions
- support community initiatives and charities
