Some of our girls had a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience and create a welding masterpiece ‘Jewellery Tree’ while learning about careers in Welding.

The Women who Weld program was set up to increase gender diversity and participation in manufacturing careers. It provides the opportunity for females to gain insight into trade skills and career pathways.
A big thank you to Sandra Scarcella, Skills Development and Training Officer (Cairns Manufacturing Hub) and our school staff, Mr McAnulty and Mr Hammett, for providing our girls with this experience.
